As part of our commitment to deliver the best products and services, we have made the decision to deprecate Freshping. We understand that you may have questions about how this change will affect you, so we’ve compiled this FAQ to help address common concerns and guide you through the process.
Why is Freshping being deprecated?
We have evaluated our business priorities and have decided that supporting Freshping is no longer part of our go forward plan. Therefore, we’ve made the decision to gradually discontinue Freshping to avoid compromising service quality and reliability.
What happens if my subscription is up for renewal?
Freshping will continue to work for you till the end of your active subscription.
Any renewals done before March 6, 2026 will be honored and your plan will run to its natural expiry. Any subscription set to renew on or after March 6, 2026, will not be processed.
Can I change my plan or move from free to paid plan now?
No. Plan changes and upgrades (including moving from free to paid) are no longer supported. If you have a paid plan, you may continue using it until it expires. After that, your account will be disabled. Note that any subscription set to renew on or after March 6, 2026, will not be processed.
Can I export my data on Freshping?
Yes, you can export your data immediately until June 4, 2026 if you are on a free tier. If you have a paid plan, you can export your data until 90 days after your subscription end date. We recommend exporting any critical data as soon as possible to avoid future access issues. Once you initiate an export, you and other account owners and admins will receive a secure link to download your data within 48 hours. The link remains active for 60 days.
What data can I export from Freshping?
When you initiate the export process a download link containing your exported files will be sent to the account owner and admins. The exported data includes:
XML Files:
Monitoring check configurations
Status page configurations
Integration configurations
CSV Files:
Historical incidents
Uptime data
User details
How do I initiate the export?
You need to be an account admin or owner to initiate the export. You can start the export directly from the in-app banner or through Account Settings.
What if I choose to disable my account after export?
Once you disable your account (e.g., after a successful export), your data will remain in our database for an additional 90 days. After this period, all data is permanently deleted
Will there be a final shutdown date?
Free plan accounts will be disabled on March 6, 2026. Paid plan renewals will cease after March 6, 2026. If your paid plan expires after this date, it will not renew and will be disabled on natural expiry.
Does the Freshping deprecation affect integrations with other Freshworks products?
Integrations with other Freshworks products will remain active as long as your Freshping account is accessible. However, we advise reviewing your setup and planning for alternative solutions soon, as renewals and support will eventually end.
Will there be any impact on my monitored websites or applications?
If you continue using Freshping on your existing subscription (or free plan), your monitoring services will remain active for the duration of your plan. We recommend exploring other monitoring services to ensure continuity.
Will Freshping support continue in any form?
Freshping support will continue to be available only as long as your account remains active. Since we are phasing out the service, no new features or major updates will be provided. For best results, consider migrating to an alternative monitoring tool in a timely manner.
